Ole Rosgaard
President and Chief Executive Officer
Ole Rosgaard image

Ole Rosgaard serves as Greif’s President and CEO. Since joining Greif in 2015, he has served as Vice President and Division President of Greif’s Rigid Industrial Packaging – North America business unit. He also served as Senior Vice President and Group President of Global Industrial Packaging and was responsible for all Rigid, Flexible, and Accessory packaging operations worldwide, until he became COO. In addition, from 2016 to 2019, Ole led the transformation of the company’s Sustainability program bringing it into an industry-leading position. 

Before joining Greif, Ole was Group Managing Director for one of the largest global roofing manufacturers. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director in one of the largest international window company groups.

Currently, Ole serves on the Board of Directors of the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA).

Ole possesses unique insight and has vast experience in leading cross-cultural people and teams around the world by permanently living in five countries and working across five continents in both family- and private-equity-owned businesses. He is a committed lifelong learner, having attended numerous executive programs at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and other leading European organizations.
 

Larry A. Hilsheimer
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Larry A. Hilsheimer

Larry Hilsheimer joined Greif in May 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Scotts Miracle-Gro, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and President and Chief Operating Officer of multiple business units of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and Vice Chairman and Regional Managing Partner for Deloitte & Touche USA, LLP.

Larry serves on the Board of Directors of IBP (NYSE), Battelle for Kids and Root Insurance Company and the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. He previously served on the Finance and Audit Committees of the Board of The Ohio State University. He also sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council at Fisher College of Business and has served as a Board member for The Ohio State University Alumni Association and numerous other charitable and civic boards.

Larry holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and a law degree from Capital University Law School.

Gary R. Martz
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Gary R. Martz

Gary Martz is Greif’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary and joined the company in 2002, as its first in-house attorney. He is responsible for all aspects of Greif’s legal affairs worldwide, including corporate governance and compliance matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, litigation, patents, and trademarks. He is also responsible for Greif Global Real Estate Services. Gary was formerly President of the Land Management business segment and served as interim chief administrative officer for Finance and chief human resources officer.  Prior to joining Greif, Gary was a partner with the law firm of Baker & Hostetler LLP in Cleveland, Ohio.

Gary is a member of the One Columbus Leadership Circle, serves on the National Council for the Moritz College of Law and is a trustee of the Dawes Arboretum.

Gary received his Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo.

Bala V. Sathyanarayanan
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Bala V. Sathyanarayanan

Bala V Sathyanarayanan serves as the Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. He is focused on delivering a world-class, diverse, and engaged workforce that can execute on Greif’s vision of, be the best performing customer service company in the world. Before Greif, Bala served as Executive Vice President for Human Resources at Xerox Corporation. Bala also led the human resource function for the Americas Enterprise Business at Hewlett-Packard and has had leadership roles at Avaya Inc., Coca Cola Inc, and United Technologies Inc. Bala was named to the list of Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) and named Executive of the Year by Columbus CEO Magazine. Bala earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from the University of Madras in Chennai, India. He also holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Rutgers University and graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Tina Schoner
Senior Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer
Tina Schoner

Tina Schoner has served as Chief Supply Chain Officer for Greif Inc. since January 2022. In this role, Tina has primary responsibility for the development and execution of global supply chain strategies for direct and indirect materials & services spend. Tina leads supply chain operational excellence in the areas of purchasing, materials planning, transportation & logistics, supplier performance and strategic sourcing.

Prior to her current role, Tina was the SVP & Chief Procurement Officer for Oshkosh Corporation, a manufacturer of specialty vehicles and worksite access equipment with brands including, McNeilus, Pierce, JLG and Oshkosh Defense. Prior to that, Tina was the Executive Director, Global Supply Chain Operations for United Technologies Corporation (Raytheon Technologies), where she was responsible for the strategy development and execution of the $25B supply chain supporting four divisions within the commercial building and aerospace markets including Pratt & Whitney, Otis, Carrier and United Technologies Aerospace Systems. Additionally, Tina’s more than 35 years of supply chain experience included positions of increasing responsibility at Rockwell Collins, Inc., Penford Products (Ingredion) and ConAgra. Tina also served active duty in the United States Marine Corps.

Tina believes in the mission of elevating people by eliminating barriers to employment, and therefore, serves as a board director for Goodwill North Central Wisconsin. She is an active member of the Association of Supply Chain Management and is a Purchasing Council member for the Manufacturer’s Alliance for Productivity and Innovation. Tina is also a member and chapter sponsor for Women In Manufacturing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Business from Mount Mercy University and an Executive MBA from the University of Iowa.

Kimberly Kellermann
Senior Vice President, Global Operations Group
Kimberly Kellermann

Kimberly Kellermann leads Greif’s Global Operations Group, including leading the Enterprise Automation Strategy; driving continuous improvement; integrating Capital Planning and execution; quality and regulatory compliance and the company’s safety program of Zero Harm to enhance our safety culture and approach worldwide.

Kim has extensive experience in operational leadership, operational excellence and driving product and service quality through financial investment and correct capital planning. She has significant experience in Engineering Management and global large-scale rollouts of behavioral change programs.

She has championed several industry initiatives and more recently helped launch a career development program aimed at improving the representation of women in manufacturing leadership and technical roles.

Prior to Greif, she had a 17-year career with Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the world's leading research-driven pharmaceutical companies, where she gained significant experience in leading global teams and delivering international strategy as well as integrating businesses on an international scale as Vice President of Operations and Head of Network Competitiveness.

Kellermann holds an MBA in International Business from The Ohio State University as well as a bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the same leading University.

Tim Bergwall
Senior Vice President and Group President, Paper Packaging and Soterra LLC
Tim Bergwall

Tim has served as Group President, Paper Packaging & Services at Greif, Inc. since January 2014, and President of Soterra Land Management LLC, a Greif subsidiary since May 2015. Prior to these roles, he served as Vice President, Containerboard Mills.

Tim’s career spans 35 years in the paper packaging industry in management roles with large integrated firms such as Union Camp Corporation and smaller independent companies, where he focused on strategic growth initiatives for each organization. He remains active in the paper packaging industry through his service as Vice Chairman of the Fibre Box Association, the largest industry trade association of the corrugated packaging industry, and as Chairman of Boxboard Products in Greensboro, NC.

His leadership also extends as Chairman of the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation which partners with more than 20 universities across the country to build curriculum and provide equipment and funding for Packaging and Engineering Schools. Tim is also a Board Member of the Paper Recycling Coalition, an advocacy group with a mission to protect the U.S. recovered fiber supply from market distorting government subsidies and costly government regulations, and he serves in the Containerboard Sector at the American Forest & Paper Association and is a member of the Paper & Packaging Board.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and has attended graduate programs at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, Harvard Business School, and The London Business School.

Paddy Mullaney
Senior Vice President and Group President, Global Industrial Packaging
Paddy Mullaney

Paddy Mullaney serves as Senior Vice President & Group President of Global Industrial Packaging, responsible for all Rigid and Accessory packaging businesses globally. Paddy has over 29 years of packaging industry experience, the last 15 years in C-Level positions leading and developing high-performance teams.

Paddy joined Greif in June 2017 and has led the growth and development of our Rigid Industrial Packaging businesses in the EMEA Region prior to taking up the Group President role of Global Industrial Packaging in Nov 2021.

Before joining Greif, Paddy held CEO and COO roles at Flexible and Paper-based packaging businesses in the consumer packaging space with Clondalkin Group. Paddy has a proven track record in successfully leading international businesses and creating highly effective leadership teams to serve customer and market needs.

Paddy previously held the position of vice-chair of Flexible Packaging Europe, volunteers his free time in youth sport and development through the sport of rugby, and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from University College Galway, Ire and an MBA from University of Bradford, UK.

Vivian Bouet
Chief Information & Digital Officer

Vivian Bouet is Greif’s Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO), joining us on December 5, 2022. Vivian brings over 28 years of experience in business and technology transformation and most recently served as the Chief Information Officer at CPS Energy, the nation’s largest municipally owned energy company with over $12B in assets under management. She was responsible for overseeing the technology roadmap, enterprise architecture, digital experience, business solutions development, and innovation functions. She also provided leadership in corporate strategic planning, change management, and enterprise program management.

In her role as CIDO, as part of the Executive Leadership Team, Vivian will help shape the company’s broader strategic direction, engaging customers and vendors through technology and digital solutions. Significant emphasis will be placed on anticipating change and identifying opportunities for innovation to ensure Greif maintains a leadership position within an increasingly competitive industry landscape while championing continued colleague growth and development.

Matt Eichmann
Vice President, Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer
Matt Eichmann

Matt Eichmann joined Greif in November 2015 and currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer. Previously he served as Vice President, Investor Relations, External Relations and Sustainability and the Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Prior to Greif, he worked at Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE: NEM) where he served as Director, Investor Relations and held various other corporate finance and leadership roles both in the United States and Africa.

Matt was a U.S. Marine Corps artillery officer and in 2019 was named to the National Investor Relations Institute's inaugural "40 under 40" class. He is former member of the American Heart Association of Central Ohio’s volunteer executive leadership team.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the US Naval Academy, and a Master’s degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver. He is also an Investor Relations Charterholder (IRC).

Matthew Leahy
Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations
Matthew Leahy

Matt Leahy joined Greif in July 2018 and currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. In his prior role as the Director of Corporate Development, Matt led all material M&A transactions for Greif, including the transformative acquisition and integration of Caraustar Industries. Prior to Greif, Matt held management positions at premier hedge funds, including FrontPoint Partners and Point72 Asset Management, where he focused on managing large portfolios of public equity investments in the industrial sector.

Early in his career, Matt spent over four years overseeing strategic and operational improvement projects for Fortune 500 clients at Booz Allen Hamilton and Kaiser Associates, both management consulting firms. He serves on the Board of Columbus Early Learning Centers and is an active lecturer at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Matt received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School.
